ABOUT NUVOBIO
NuvoBio was founded in Ottawa in late 2023 to build peptide therapeutics a different way. Rather than optimising molecules that already exist, we design them from scratch using DarwinAI, a generative platform built on how proteins interact in living systems. In under three years we’ve graduated from Creative Destruction Lab, joined the Merck Digital Sciences Studio, filed four patents, and signed our first multi-target pharmaceutical partnership.

Our platform rests on more than two hundred publications from our founding team across biochemistry and computer engineering. All intellectual property is fully owned by NuvoBio, with an agreement in place giving us exclusive worldwide ownership of platform and pipeline IP arising from work at Carleton University.
